2. INTEGRATED ENVIRONMENTAL AUTHORIZATION (AAI): The written resolution of the competent body of the Generalitat, which allows, for the purposes of protecting the environment and people's health, to exploit all or part of an installation , under certain conditions designed to guarantee that it complies with the object and provisions of this law. Such authorization may be valid for one or more facilities or parts of facilities that have the same location.

ENVIRONMENTAL LICENSE (LA): The written resolution of the competent body of the municipality in which the facility is located, through which the exploitation of all or part of a facility or establishment included in Annex II of the present law. The license may be valid for one or more facilities or parts of facilities that have the same location.

5. RESPONSIBLE ENVIRONMENTAL DECLARATION (DRA): The document signed by the owner of the activity, or his representative, in which he informs the administration that he is going to start the activity and states, under his responsibility, that he meets the requirements established in the environmental regulations for its exercise, which has the documentation that accredits it and that undertakes to maintain its compliance during the period of time that said exercise lasts, accompanying the documentation that this law establishes.

4. COMMUNICATION OF SAFE ACTIVITIES (CAI): Communication of safe activities: the document by which the owner of the activity informs the corresponding public administration of the start of the activity as well as its identification data and other requirements that are required for the exercise of activity

8. INSTALLATION : a fixed technical unit, within which one or more of the activities listed in the corresponding annex to this law are carried out, as well as any other activities on the same site directly related to those that are related to technical nature and may have an impact on emissions and pollution.

9. ADMINISTRATIVE INTERVENTION: The administrative activity of preventive control of activities, manifested through the granting of authorizations, licenses or other prior permits for the exercise of an activity, as well as the administrative activity of control after the start of the activity.

13. NON-SUBSTANTIAL MODIFICATION: Any modification of the characteristics or of the operation, or of the extension of the installation, which, without being considered substantial, may have consequences on safety, people's health or the environment.

SUBSTANTIAL MODIFICATION: Any modification carried out in a facility that, in the opinion of the competent body to grant the corresponding intervention instrument and in accordance with the criteria established in this law, may have detrimental or significant repercussions on people and the environment. .

15. ENVIRONMENTAL BODY: The competent state or autonomous body for the environmental evaluation of projects, plans and programs.

16. ENVIRONMENTAL SUBSTANTIVE BODY: The competent public administration body to grant the integrated environmental authorization or environmental license or, where appropriate, to control the activity subject to an environmentally responsible declaration or communication of innocuous activities.
