MONUMENT NATURA L : CATALOG AND PRESEVATION . Natural Monuments will be considered geological formations, paleontological and mineralogical deposits, stratotypes and other elements of the gea that gather a special interest due to the singularity or importance of their scientific, cultural or landscape values. In Natural Monuments, the exploitation of resources will be limited, except when this exploitation is fully consistent with the conservation of the values ​​that are intended to be protected, in accordance with the provisions of their declaration or management standards, or in those cases in which, for reasons of research or conservation or because they are compatible economic activities with minimal impact and that contribute to the socioeconomic well-being or of the population, such exploitation is allowed, after the pertinent administrative authorization.

PROTECTION OF CAVES AND SIMAS. In general, all caves, chasms and other underground cavities located in the Valencian Community are considered protected.
